Seventy-five cases were bottled in 2021 from 100% Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc grapes, following a cold-fermentation in stainless steel, with primary fermentation finishing around 4 weeks and no residual sugar. SANNA Sauvignon Blanc is the personal label of Kristof & Jennifer Anderson, known for vins de terroir of distinction. 100% dry. 12.5% alcohol.
Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
Fragrant nose of white lilac, star jasmine, frangipani, pineapple leaf, underripe banana and banana flower. Zippy flavors of pineapple, kiwi, honeydew melon, fresh green coconut, & sweet Meyer lemon, in a polished and refined style. Rich finish of melon and clove spice. Hedonic, yet also delicate and ethereal. Nice viscosity and weight in a low-alcohol wine. A triumphant expression of the varietal, poetic, & evocative of springtime terroir.

Palest greenish-gold in color, near colorless, this wine smells of candied green apple and gooseberries. In the mouth, green apple, lime, cut grass, and a touch of grapefruit have a nice brisk brightness thanks to excellent acidity. Fresh and juicy. 13.8% alcohol. Score: 8.5 – 9.”
