Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
Fragrant nose of white lilac, star jasmine, frangipani, pineapple leaf, underripe banana and banana flower. Zippy flavors of pineapple, kiwi, honeydew melon, fresh green coconut, & sweet Meyer lemon, in a polished and refined style. Rich finish of melon and clove spice. Hedonic, yet also delicate and ethereal. Nice viscosity and weight in a low-alcohol wine. A triumphant expression of the varietal, poetic, & evocative of springtime terroir.

"The Sanna 2021 Sauvignon Blanc opens with fresh aromas of elderflower, pink grapefruit, lime zest, fresh-cut grass, and passion fruit. On the palate, the wine’s lively acidity perfectly complements the bright fruit flavors like honeydew melon and lychee. This wine is an excellent pairing for warm summer days but still has the sophistication to accompany a fine dining experience." 94 Points

"It was fermented slow and cold – with primary fermentation finishing around 4+ weeks. No oak – all in stainless steel and no residual sugar. Shows captivating aromatics including pear and apple. Very balanced across the palate with flavors of kiwi and gooseberry and a citrus zest. "
